Happy New Year! The January Release is live and that means 2013 is off to an exciting and productive start. Throughout the year, Saba will continue to deliver monthly updates to the Saba People Cloud, helping you develop, engage and inspire your employees, partners and customers. Our first release of 2013 has these highlights:

The Learning E-Commerce Sensation!
For 2013, say good bye to your staid Learning Store and thrill your customers and partners with an exciting store built on Saba People Cloud’s new e commerce engine. Supporting rich visual graphics, the new store lets you prominently display promotions and feature whole categories of training, as well as highlight new and popular courses. You can even create coupons which are good for a percentage or dollar amount off a purchase. Your clients will be able to easily find just what they need with accurate search, powerful filtering, insightful comments and ratings. If you serve more than one market or need separate stores for customer and partners, you can easily create multiple stores to address each group of buyers.
You clients will have flexibility in payment options including major credit cards and PayPal, without burdening your staff with implementing these options. Later this year, we’ll be adding support for purchase orders and Saba Training Units. The Saba People Cloud store complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard which reduces risk and credit card transaction fees. With a stirring and convenient shopping experience for your customers and partners, you’ll have an easier time meeting your external training obligations and revenue targets.
Content in a Click: Saba Publisher Integration
Subject matter experts and instructional designers have long been using Saba Publisher to create media rich content through its drag-and-drop user interface. With the January Release, you can take these high quality, high value e-Learning courses and publish them to the Saba People Cloud Learning catalog in a single click.
Improve Learning with Social Content
The Social network at the heart of the Saba People is extremely helpful in staying on top of what’s going on at your Company. Popular content circulates quickly as comments and ratings increase exposure to more and more people. Of course, Saba People Cloud’s search and “hot” content email digests also help. Now when instructors see content that fits with their courses, they can add it to a Learning assignment in a couple clicks. With fresh content, learners will be more engaged and the training more effective.
