Three predictions for SumTotal and Softscape's customers

With the announcement that SumTotal is buying Softscape, it is important to highlight all the promises that have been made during all the previous acquisitions by SumTotal over the last 9 years. Roadmaps have not been fulfilled and many customers have been left hanging. Saba has three predictions related to this acquisition:

  1. Customer satisfaction will continue to decline as SumTotal continues to struggle with the integration of more than 10 disparate companies.
  2. Customer satisfaction will continue to decline as SumTotal continues to let go of valuable employees with domain expertise so that they can reduce costs to enable servicing its heavy debt.
  3. Customer satisfaction will continue to decline as they realize that their investment in SumTotal is a one way street and has no future.
