California Consumer Privacy Act

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a Privacy Law that took effect from January 1st, 2020. The CCPA grants California residents several new rights over their personal information. These include new rights as right to access or delete personal information collected by organizations and the right to opt-out of a “sale” of personal information. This Privacy Notice for California Residents (“Privacy Notice” applies only to all visitors, users and others who reside in the State of California. It describes the rights for Californian residents under CCPA.

Information we collect

Insofar as you do not actively make Personal Data available to use, we do not store personal data while you use our site, except that our webservers register all connections to the site automatically. Supporting California Consumer Privacy Rights

CCPA provides new rights and control over personal information that businesses like Saba may collect. Among these rights, California consumers have access and delete rights as well as new rights to opt out of the sharing or 'selling' of personal information.

You have the right to request that Saba discloses certain information to you about our collection and use of personal data over the past 12 months.

Furthermore, you have the right to request that we delete any of your personal data that we collected and retained, subject to certain exceptions.

CCPA has an opt-out right which is particularly significant because CCPA defines "sale" in very broad terms. Saba subject to our Privacy Policy do not sell personal information. While Saba shares some information with trusted ‘Service providers” we do not allow any third parties to use the personal information we share for the third parties benefit.

Saba's Products and Services

For the services that Saba delivers we have contractual terms that clearly set our role as Service Provider. Our terms already meet CCPA requirements for Service Providers and allow you to use your data in connection with our services. Saba can add an addendum to the current contract to referring to our role as Service Provider under CCPA.
