Join us in Boston July 24-26! Saba Insight 2017 is a time for the brightest learning and talent leaders to gather in one place to dive into the latest business and talent trends, to learn next practices and thought leadership, to hear from product experts and to download tips and tricks for Saba administrators.
At Saba Insight, we’re “One Family.” There’s something special about being around hundreds of other Saba customers who understand the learning and development challenges your organization faces in your own unique way.
A home for ‘Saba stories’
“Saba Summit 2015 was a valuable experience,” says Anne Higgins, Learning Management Solutions Manager for Source Atlantic Limited. “It was enlightening to attend the sessions where Saba users told stories about not just how they were using Saba, but about the significant differences and achievements that were being accomplished in their companies because of the Saba LMS,” Anne notes. “The ability to network with other companies experiencing similar challenges in implementing an extensive learning initiative, afforded us the opportunity to hear about new solutions to some of our challenges.”
Saba Insight tip #1: Choose a professional goal for the event.
Perhaps it’s networking. Or learning more about our platform in the pre-conference Saba University Pre-Conference Technical Training. Or maybe you’re feeling uninspired currently and hearing from some talented speakers sounds like a good plan.
Of course, there’s lot of fun networking to be had as well. On July 26, choose from one of five pre-planned Boston outings. Pre-register for one of the following tours:
- Boston Duck Tour Excursion
- Freedom Trail Historic Walking Tour
- Sports Fan Tour of Fenway Park
- Faneuil Hall Marketplace Experience
- Happy Hour at Cheers
Saba Insight tip #2: Say “Yes!” to everything.
Make sure you’re on the Boston Duck Tour (or one of the other four pre-planned events). Don’t “duck” out...be present! Come to the Welcome Reception; sip a craft cocktail at the Saba Family Reunion at the Lawn on D. You’ll definitely get out of it what you put into it. Saying “yes” gives you the opportunity to meet more people, have more unique experiences and learn something new.
Enjoy inspiring speakers throughout Saba Insight 2017. You’ll be mystified and amazed by David Meade, our master of ceremonies; educated and inspired by Saba’s CEO Pervez Qureshi, who will be presenting our vision for the future; and receive some expert coaching from Chris Yeh, entrepreneur, mentor and author. Reshma Saujani, Founder and CEO, Girls Who Code, will offer our closing session. In between, there will be plenty of breakout sessions where we’ll learn from Saba customers and product experts.
Saba Insight tip #3: Plan how to spend your days ahead of time.
“As with all conferences, our team reviewed the schedule well ahead of time. We prioritized the sessions we wanted to go to and we split up so we could each hear something different and share with each other at the end of the day,” Anne says.
Prior to traveling to Boston, look over the agenda for Insight 2017 and choose breakout sessions that might help you achieve your professional goal (#1, above). Or simply choose a session that sounds interesting...it’s your choice! Add the keynotes, receptions, sightseeing and other events to your calendar. And don't forget to take care of yourself: pack a pair of running shoes so you can get a little walking, jogging or workout in the hotel fitness center.
