I recently read the new report by Bersin by Deloitte, Predictions for 2016: A Bold New World of Talent, Learning, Leadership, and HR Technology Ahead. The report states that everything in the world of talent is evolving – from talent acquisition to how the entire work-life experience is curated and managed. As we saw in 2015, big data and HR analytics will continue to evolve and mature this year, so too will the merging of HR and business practices.
While reading the report, I was reminded once again that in
today’s hyper-connected world, the work environment is constantly changing. There’s
the re-engineering and digitization of “this” or the revolution in “that”.
And while, yes, the progress being made in the world of talent management and technology is inevitable, one thing will always remain for HR: The focus on people.
