What sets Dogfish Head Craft Brewery’s culture apart from other
We make off-centered ales for off-centered people, and off-centeredness is infused into everything we do. From spontaneous celebrations, to the innovation in our products, to our collaborations both internally and externally, we put our own unique spin on things all while keeping it real and true to our roots as a family-owned, local company.
How did your company culture impact the development of your talent management processes?
We make analog beer for the digital age, meaning a lot of our processes are by-hand or old school (technology is not always the answer!) Because of this, we needed to find a solution that fit our relaxed, down-to-earth, non-corporate approach.
It was super important that whatever platform we chose had the flexibility to be easily “dogfish-ified.”
How is Dogfish Head Craft Brewery using Halogen to build a high-performing workforce that supports its business objectives and unique brand identity?
Moving to Halogen for all of our performance management processes allowed us to keep things organized and structured without being oppressive. Overall, feedback improved both from a quality and quantity standpoint, which only improved the performance of the individual contributors we have here.
