OLADE Deploys Saba-Centra for Real-Time Learning

International Energy Organization Implements Saba-Centra to Enable Cost-Effective, Cross-Border Training on Emerging Issues and Technologies

Redwood Shores, Calif. – February 28, 2007 — Saba, the premier Human Capital Management (HCM) software and services provider, today announced that the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE) has implemented Saba-Centra Live™ to facilitate real-time learning and collaboration between its members.

OLADE is a non-profit organization integrated by the ministries of energy in 26 Latin American and Caribbean countries. The organization deployed Saba-Centra Live, a real-time learning solution, to train more than 250 employees on emerging energy issues such as Energy Balance Methodology and Management and the Application of National Energy Information System (SIEN).

OLADE uses Saba-Centra Live to deliver its Virtual Training Program (CAPEV), the goal of which is to reduce the cost of travel, accommodation and minimize other expenses associated with having Energy Ministry professionals attend international training courses. This allows OLADE to increase significantly the number of people that benefit from the courses, seminars and workshops it offers.
