Saba Appoints Ken Higgins as VP of Learning Services to Drive New Initiatives

REDWOOD SHORES, CALIF., March 16, 2005 – Saba (NASDAQ: SABA), the leading provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions, today announced that Ken Higgins has joined the company in the newly-created position of Vice President of Learning Services.

In his new role, Higgins will drive Saba’s education and expand market opportunities for Saba’s learning content programs through strategic partnerships with key content providers. Higgins will focus on custom content development, content best practices consulting, third-party packaged content certification programs, and Saba’s customer education development and delivery.

A 20-year industry veteran, Higgins comes to Saba with a strong history of building education businesses for software companies such as Mercury Interactive, Siebel and Oracle. Originally from Arlington, VA, Higgins holds an MBA from the University of Santa Clara and a B.Sc. in Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
