Profitable Blended Learning Program at a Business School
Bentley University uses Saba to create an interactive virtual learning environment for graduate students — one in five of whom say they wouldn’t be able to take classes at Bentley without the online offerings. The system provides greater flexibility to graduate students in a wide range of master’s degree programs to attend Bentley University’s classes either on campus or online, allowing them to deal with work commitments or other personal time demands. Nearly 85% of the students play back recordings of online courses to make up for absences or to review challenging concepts. Saba enabled courses with low registrations to be economically viable when offered online.
Pioneering Distance Education Program Among Universities
East Carolina University (ECU) is an emerging national research university with an enrollment of more than 28,000 students and nearly 200 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs. ECU has been a recognized leader in distance education for more than 50 years, and was among the first schools in the nation to offer a degree completely over the Internet. Saba Classroom (Saba Meeting) provides a rich, interactive, virtual learning environment facilitating more effective, collaborative learning and social interaction among students and the faculty/community.
