Tom Berquist is the CEO of Saba and an Operating Partner at Vector Capital where he partners with Vector's portfolio companies to create shareholder value. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Saba and Corel. Previously Tom was Chief Executive Officer of Corel, a global consumer software and hardware company based in Ottawa, Canada, with major offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Taiwan, China, and Japan. Tom joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in September 2009 and helped take the company private with the backing of Vector Capital.
Prior to joining Corel, Tom was Chief Financial Officer at Ingres, a private open source software company based in Redwood City, CA. Before entering the software industry in 2006, Tom spent ten years as a Managing Director of Software Equity Research for Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and Piper Jaffray where he covered most of the world's top software companies including Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, Intuit, Nuance Communications, Symantec, and Autodesk. Previously, as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, Tom was responsible for selling and managing large enterprise software implementation projects for customers including Liberty Mutual Insurance, the City of Chicago, GMAC, Tyco International, US Bancorp, and Honeywell.
Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota.
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Sales
As Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Sales, Don Bosworth is responsible for all business development and sales activities for large-enterprise, mid-market, and SMB worldwide. Don brings more than 30 years of enterprise technology sales leadership and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and has played various leadership roles at Saba for the last 11 years. His successful background in sales management, solution selling, and customer relationship management is a result of his experience in a variety of enterprise software markets, including CRM, ERP, and HCM.
Before joining Saba, Don served for more than four years as the Regional Vice President of Sales for Docent. Prior to Docent, Don held senior sales management positions at Vantive, PeopleSoft, Verity and Oracle. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and an MBA from the University of Illinois.

Shawn Farshchi served in a number of leadership roles at Saba from 2011 to 2015, including CEO, President and COO. Shawn brings over 30 years of experience leading, driving, and managing business, technological, organizational, and cultural transformation in highly dynamic environments. In his role as Chief Operating Officer for Coremetrics (an IBM company), a market leader in digital marketing and web analytics delivered through a SaaS model, he managed a broad range of responsibilities including product development, service operations, professional services, technical training, and customer service.
Prior to Coremetrics, Shawn served as VP of Platform Engineering and Operations as well as the GM of Voice Applications for WebEx Communications Inc. In this role, he led the engineering and product development for the Voice, Video, and Data Switching Platform, and was responsible for all aspects of WebEx's audio conferencing solutions. Prior to WebEx, he was regional VP at Oracle, Senior VP of Development at Broadvision, and CIO at DHL Airways.

Andy is a Managing Director and joined Vector in 2008. Andy currently serves on the Board of Directors of Allegro and Saba Software. Andy was previously a Director of RAE Systems (acquired by Honeywell), Teletrac (acquired by Danaher), and Aladdin Knowledge Systems (merged with SafeNet and acquired by Gemalto).
Andy came to Vector with significant technology investing and technology operational experience. Andy worked at Silver Lake Partners where he focused on large-scale technology buyouts in both North America and Europe. Previously, he worked in investment banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he focused on mergers and financings in the technology and telecommunications industries.
On the operational side, Andy worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Artificial Intelligence Lab, and at Sun Microsystems as a software engineer. He also worked at Vlingo, a mobile start-up based in Boston, as head of Business Development.
Andy received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He holds a B.A. in computer science from Dartmouth College where he graduated magna cum laude.

David is a Managing Director and joined Vector in 2006. He coordinates the Private Equity Investment Team and has been actively involved in the investments in SafeNet, RAE Systems, Aladdin Knowledge Systems, Teletrac (formerly Trafficmaster), Technicolor S.A., Open Solutions, ChyronHego, and Saba Software.
David currently serves on the Board of Directors of Allegro Development, Technicolor S.A., ChyronHego, and Saba Software. David was previously a Director of SafeNet (acquired by Gemalto), RAE Systems (acquired by Honeywell), Teletrac (acquired by Danaher), and Aladdin Knowledge Systems (merged with SafeNet). He sits on the investment committee of both the private equity funds and the Vector Credit Opportunity Fund. He was named the Technology Investor of the Year – North America by ACQ Finance Magazine.
Prior to joining Vector, David worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. for 10 years and was a Managing Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions area, focused primarily on technology and media transactions. David worked closely with senior management teams to analyze and execute a variety of strategic alternatives, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and leveraged buyouts. In his time at Goldman, David led or participated in over 30 transactions worth an aggregate value of $120 billion, including transactions involving Microsoft, eBay, Adobe, IBM, Oracle, and PeopleSoft. Prior to Goldman Sachs, David worked at JPMorgan where he was responsible for raising debt financing for the firm’s corporate clients.
David has an MBA with Distinction from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. with honors in Economics from Duke University.
Chief Marketing Officer
Emily He is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s go-to-market strategy as well as market awareness, demand generation, and field enablement programs on a global basis. Her direct responsibilities include product marketing, public relations, analyst relations, digital marketing, demand generation programs, customer marketing, and partner marketing.
Emily brings 17 years of experience in customer relationship management, supply-chain management, and human capital management. Prior to Saba, she held corporate marketing and product marketing leadership positions at a number of leading public companies such as AT&T, Oracle Corporation, and Siebel Systems, and E2open. She holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Chief Customer Officer
Paige Newcombe is responsible for ensuring Saba customers receive an exceptional experience across all organizational interactions. As the customers’ advocate, she leads the development and execution of the company’s customer strategy in order to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and profitability. Her direct responsibilities include professional services, educational services, customer support, and client adoption and success.
Paige brings over 20 years of passion for and experience in ensure customer success. Prior to Saba, she held various executive and senior leadership roles at IBM, including Cloud Business Development, SaaS Client Success for IBM’s Industry Solutions group, and M&A activities and integration. Prior to IBM, she served as Senior Director, SaaS Client Success at Coremetrics where she created a customer experience model that led to industry peer and analyst recognition for best practices in driving client success. She has also held various leadership positions in consulting engagements focused on customer retention and growth for organizations such as Temple-Inland, Estee Lauder, and Sykes. Paige has an MBA from St. Edward’s University.
Executive Vice President of Products, Engineering and Cloud
Srinivasa Ogireddy leads Saba’s product strategy, global engineering and cloud operations organizations and is responsible for development and delivery of the highly innovative, scalable, and extensible Saba Cloud platform and applications that power the Saba Cloud. Srini brings 20 years of software development expertise focused on building distributed teams in high-growth environments for rapid delivery of robust applications built on high-performing cloud platforms.
Prior to Saba, in Srini’s role as vice president of product development and delivery at Coremetrics (an IBM Company), he designed and developed the data tier that maintained billions of real-time customer LIVE profiles and provided the technical foundation for big data analytics and digital marketing applications. Srini has also worked as a software architect at Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), a leading provider of engineering and related technical services for petroleum refineries and industrial projects. Srini earned a Bachelor of Engineering with honors in Mechanical Engineering from BITS, Pilani and a Masters in Computer Applications from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
President and Member of the Board of Directors
Philip Saunders is the President of Saba Software and serves on the Board of Directors. He is responsible for all facets of the company’s continuing growth and business development, including Sales, Marketing, Services and Customer Success efforts. Before joining Saba, Philip was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Gemalto’s Identity and Data Protection, where he spearheaded the company’s worldwide go-to-market organization, which included the eBanking and identity sales organization, as well as the SafeNet platform.
Prior to his work at Gemalto, Philip spent nearly 20 years at SafeNet (which was acquired by Gemalto in 2015) starting as the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development in 1997 and ascending to Chief Revenue Officer and board member. Philip’s responsibilities included guiding SafeNet’s core functions of worldwide sales, business development, marketing, product management, customer service, operations and fulfillment. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the State University of New York at Albany and a Master of Business Administration from Seton Hall University’s W. Paul Stillman School of Business.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Development
Peter Williams is responsible for leading Saba's efforts to capitalize on long-term growth opportunities, including merger and acquisition activities and strategic business and partnership development, as well as for all legal affairs of the company. He previously served as Saba's Chief Financial Officer from 2004 to 2007 and as General Counsel from 1999 to 2004. Since Saba's inception, Peter has also served as the company's Secretary.
Prior to joining Saba, Peter was a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP, a leading international law firm. Peter has extensive experience representing high technology companies, as well as venture capital and investment banking firms. In addition to private and public financings and acquisitions, Williams also specialized in technology and content development, licensing, and distribution transactions, primarily for software and Internet companies.
Peter has a BA in economics and in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a JD from Santa Clara University.
