We are thrilled to be the Silver Medal recipient of the 2010 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Technology Award for “Best Advance in Social Learning Technology”. Learning is Saba’s heritage and we have always believed that an organization’s most prized asset is its people. As such, Saba has worked hard to provide the tools that organizations need to train and develop their workforce to better compete in today’s global economy.

We recognize that much of learning takes place outside of the traditional classroom and over the years, Saba has brought to market applications that have enabled e-learning,virtual classrooms, webinars and communities of practice to name a few – all with the goal of capturing and sharing the know-how that is inherent in every organization so that it can be leveraged for competitive advantages.

With the launch of Saba Social Learning in March of this year, Saba has taken learning to a whole different level. By combining Saba’s award-winning Learning Management System with sales 2.0 technologies, such as social networking and groups, organizations can now give their people a structured and unstructured learning experience within a collaborative environment. Saba Social Learning enables organizations to train their direct sales force, resellers and partner channels to accelerate sales readiness which, in turn, drives productivity and increases performance.

In short, Saba has taken social networking – something that is pretty much a part of everyone’s lives – and incorporated it into a business process that delivers business results, namely increased revenues! So, it’s easy to understand why we are so excited about this product and what it can do for our clients. It is even nicer when an industry expert such as Brandon Hall acknowledges this, too.
